Porous defence practices

2025

This series of works refers to embodied knowledge, autobiography and the landscape, unfolding through multiple layers of representational possibility, manifested in objects, images and gestures. Materials such as powder-coated metal, ink on laser-engraved stainless steel, cast aluminium, glazed ceramics, solder and rocks are assembled together by Toumpouris to compose a series of studies on autoethnography through memory and relationality, erroneously preparing for what is yet to come.
