Phyle negotiates the representation of the members of a primordial tribe, departing from the sound piece produced for Suggestions and Encounters: Physical or Otherwise. Their bodies exist in a state of flux, caught between becoming and unbecoming. Shapes that emerge from their clay bodies suggest symbols and become a semi-visible language in a state of perpetual motion, registered on strips of leather.
